Maryruth Boner
SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Maryruth Weinrich Boner, 82, wife of Eldon W. Boner of 10 E. Forest Run Court, Spartanburg, S.C., passed away Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Johnson City Medical Center from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

Born June 9, 1924, in Columbus, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Thelma (Arganbright) Weinrich. Mrs. Boner graduated from Ohio State University with a pharmaceutical degree and was formerly employed with Heckler’s Drug Store in Mount Vernon. She was a member of Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, Mrs. Boner is also survived by a daughter, Anna Lee Baker of Ellenton, Fla.

She was predeceased by her son, Paul Weinrich Boner.

Funeral service will be today, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. in the Lanford-Dunbar Funeral Chapel with Dr. B.E. Pettit presiding. Interment for Mrs. Boner will be Friday, Nov. 10, at 12:30 p.m., in Friends Church Cemetery, Londonderry, Ohio. The family is at home.

Cliff McBride
CENTERBURG — Cliff McBride, 83, of Centerburg died Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, at Riverside Hospital, Columbus.

He was retired from Nippert Electric in Delaware, was employed at Hometown Market and formerly employed at Mr. GreenGene’s Hardware in Centerburg. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and member of AMVETS Post 59 at Centerburg. Mr. McBride served as a marshal at the Memorial Golf Tournament for over 20 years.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Kay McBride; children, Kathi McBride, Steve (Dianna) McBride, Dave (Vicki) McBride, Becky (Jim) McGrady, Matt (Kelli) McBride and Andy (Lori) McBride; grandchildren, Jeremy (Andrea), Justin, Stephanie, Erika, Sam, Meagan, Lindsay, Kayla and Madeline; great-granddaughters, Jaclynn and Allison; sister, Mabel Brenot; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 45 W. Church St., Centerburg. Funeral service and burial will be private.

MOUNT VERNON — Russell L. Rockwell, 69, of Mount Vernon died this morning at Knox Community Hospital. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
