Kathleen Kavanagh
MOUNT VERNON — Kathleen Christine Kavanagh, 84, of Mount Vernon died Sept.
14, 2006, at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville.
She was born Dec. 17, 1921, in Wicklow, Ireland, to John and Ann (DeLaney) Clark. She is a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Andrew Kavanagh of Chicago; a daughter, Carmel (Geoffrey) Cowles of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren, Gordon Geoffrey Walters, Christopher Andrew Cowles and Rory Kavanagh; three sisters, Elizabeth Jordan of Vancouver, British Columbia, Mary Ann Byrne of Wicklow, Ireland, and Nancy Tompkins of Arklow, Ireland.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kavanagh in 1968; four brothers and three sisters.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Mark J. Hammond as celebrant. Friends may call a half hour prior to time of the service at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
