Viola E. Bradfield
MOUNT VERNON — Viola E. Bradfield, 88, of Mount Vernon, formerly of the Byesville and Old Washington area, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon.

She was born June 10, 1918, in Ashland County to Ernest and Nellie (Zimmerman) Rush. She retired from Essex in Zanesville.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Charles) Merrilees of Mount Vernon and Helen (Earl) Bridgeman of Lore City; one son, Ralph (Michelle) Bradfield of Niles; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Bradfield, in 1956; a daughter, Judy; and five sisters.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Bundy-Law Funeral Home, 120 N. 11th St., Cambridge, where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Virginia Geiger will officiate. Burial will be in Center Cemetery.

Timothy O. Brink
SUNBURY — Timothy O. “Tim” Brink, 36, of Sunbury lost his three-year battle with cancer on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at OSU Medical Center.

A graduate of New Albany High School with the class of 1988, he was born in Columbus on Dec. 10, 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa (Vogel); mother and stepfather, Maeve M. (Doddroe) and John Tuller of Powell; brothers, James (Susan) Brink and Daniel (Gail) Brink; sisters, Cheryl (Allen) Smith and Lisa (Rick) Byrne; stepsisters, Nicole (Steve) Stobart and Larae (Todd) McCubbins; parents-in-law, George (Susan) Vogel; brother-in-law, Ron (Angi) Vogel; 24 nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert O. Brink.

Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m., and one hour prior to the services, to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at Ohio 61, Sunbury, with Pastor Dan McLaughlin officiating. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, New Albany.

Juanita A. Mishey
MOUNT VERNON — Juanita A. Mishey, 80, of Mount Vernon died Monday, Sept. 4, 2006, at The Inn at HillenVale in Mount Vernon.

Juanita was born Jan. 16, 1926, in Mansfield to Thomas E. and Bessie A. (Hammett) Hillman. She married L. Russell Mishey on June 16, 1945, and they maintained a farm near Fredericktown for 25 years. Juanita had been a resident of Mount Vernon since 1973. After leaving the farm Juanita was co-owner and office manager for Mid-Ohio Suzuki Inc., in Mount Vernon. She was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon and had attended Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon.

Surviving are her daughter, Diane Dingler of Mount Vernon; her son, Kevin R. Mishey of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Lauren and Elena Reiss and Dallas and Erin Mishey; her brother, Thomas Hillman of Mansfield; and her sister, Jane Stewart of Mount Vernon.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Thomas Russell Mishey; and a sister, Dorothy Hillman.

The funeral was this morning at the Faith Lutheran Church, 170 Old Mansfield Road, Mount Vernon, with the Rev. Mark Wildermuth officiating. Burial followed in Forest Cemetery at Fredericktown. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
