MOUNT VERNON — Samuel D. Greiner, 74, of Mount Vernon died Aug. 4, 2006 at his residence. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
MOUNT VERNON — Donald J. McMains, 57, of Mount Vernon died Aug. 4, 2006, at the Country Court Nursing Center.
He was born June 1, 1949, in Mount Vernon to Forrest and Vera (Myers) McMains.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul (Earlene) McMains of Wooster and Steven Edward (Joan) McMains of Anchorage, Alaska; a half brother, Terry Dean McNutt, and half sister, Pamela Sue McNutt, both of Columbus.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Bloomfield Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Law will officiate. The North-Dilley Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

MOUNT VERNON — Mildred A. Whitworth, 95, of Mount Vernon passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born Jan. 22, 1911, in Homer, daughter to Samuel and Laura (Hayes) White. Mildred was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Highland, Ind., was the past matron of the Rebeck Lodge in Whiting, Ind., was a former member of the White Shrine in Gary, Ind., and was a past member of the Ladies of the Orient in Hammond, Ind.
Mildred is survived by her granddaughter, Jill Whitworth of Gahanna; and a sister, Frances Morehead of Pickerington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gordon Whitworth; a son, Richard Whitworth; three sisters; Helen, Phyllis, and an infant sister; and three brothers, Clarence, Charles, and Franklin.
Friends may call on Monday, Aug. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, where a service will be Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
