HAMPTON, Ga. — Joey Brookins, 38, of Hampton, Ga., died Monday, June 26,
2006.
He was born in Mount Vernon to James Robert and Helen Marie (Scott) Brookins.
Mr. Brookins is survived by his father of Locust Grove, Ga.; siblings, James Christopher Brookins and Leah Lynette Dice, both of Mount Vernon; and his fiancee, Dena Wright.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorial service will be Monday, July 3, at 10 a.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
Ruth J. Frank
MOUNT VERNON — Ruth J. Frank, 81, of Mount Vernon died Wednesday, June 28,
2006, at the Morning View Care Center in Danville.
Ruth was born May 10, 1925, in Butler and had spent most of her lifetime in Knox County. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Loudonville.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Frank; and a sister, Lorraine Hoar.
Funeral service will be Friday at noon at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon with the Rev. John E. Fitch officiating. Burial will follow in Amity Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours before the funeral service.

MOUNT VERNON — James A. “Jim” Stepp, 48, of Mount Vernon, passed
away June 26, 2006, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.
He was born on Dec. 26, 1957, in Columbus. He attended New Life Church of the Nazarene in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne Stepp, to whom he had been married to for 22 years; his son and daughter, Shane and Nacole Stepp of the home; two brothers, Robert (Sandy) Stepp and Carl (Kay) Stepp, both of Howard; a sister, Lisa (Mark) Thompson of Baltimore, Ohio; father and stepmother, John A. (Betty) Stepp of Columbus; fathers- and mothers-in-law, Mary (Jack) Keene of Tampa, Fla., and Tom (Liz) Watters of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Russell Stepp; and a stepsister, Ursula.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the North-Dilley Funeral Home. Where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lonnie Smith officiating. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery.

Cecil Robert Wolcott
CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cecil Robert Wolcott died June 3, 2006, at Cape Coral,
Fla.
He was born Nov. 4, 1923, at Wakeman, Ohio, the son of Clyde Oliver and Emilia (Betts) Wolcott.
He is survived by wife, Lelia; three sons, C. Robert (Esther) Wolcott Jr. of Fleetwood, Pa., Gary (Carolyn) Wolcott of Arlington, Va., and Larry (Miriam) Wolcott of Utica; one daughter, Mary (Brian) Hamond of Freeport, Ill; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Engen of Fleetwood, Pa., and Rita Gavin of Fort Myers, Fla.; and a brother, Andrew Wolcott of Dixon, Tenn.
Memorial service to be conducted Sunday, July 2, 2006, at 3:30 p.m. at the Fredericktown Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fredericktown. Pastor Jim Howard will officiate.
