CENTERBURG — Evelyn L. Deyo, 89, of Centerburg died Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at Morningview Care Center, Centerburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; parents, Eunice and Warren Pollock; sisters, Norma Jean Pollock, Freda Pollock and Opal Deardurff; and a brother, Hubert Pollock.
She is survived by children, Barbara (Frank) Burkitt and Floyd Deyo, both of Centerburg, and Gary (Amy) Deyo of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Laura Dunham, Brett Burkitt, Joli Deyo, Bree Deyo, Abbey Deyo and Drew Deyo; four great-grandsons; a brother, Warren Pollock of Washington Court House; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Leroy Bumpus will officiate. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.

Jerry L. Welsh
AUBREY, Texas — On June 17, 2006, at 2:50 p.m., Jerry L. Welsh passed on to his Savior. Jerry was born in Bloomingburg, Ohio, on May 11, 1937, to Dennis and Velma Welsh.
Jerry is survived by his mother, Velma M. Bell of Washington Court House; his wife of 49 years, Paula D. Welsh of Aubrey, Texas; sons, Jerry M. Welsh and Karen Lodwick of Tuppers Plains, Ohio, and Christopher A. (Jacenda G.) Welsh of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Marcie L. Welsh of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Dalton C. Welsh and Olivia C. Welsh, both of Plano, Texas. Jerry’s surviving siblings are Stanley G. and Joycelyn Welsh of Washington Court House, Ohio; Earl M. and Elsbeth Welsh of Delaware, Ohio; Tom and Lynn L. Dennis of Chillicothe, Ohio; Paul and Linda L. Rodgers of New Holland, Ohio; Robert L. and Jackie Welsh of Greenfield, Ohio; and all of their loving families. Surviving in-laws are Roger and Freda Shaw, and William and Christina Boylan, all of Washington Court House, Ohio; Jessie Roeder, Monroeville, Ohio; and all of their loving families.
Jerry L. Welsh was preceded in death by his father, Dennis W. Welsh; his brother, Donald E. Welsh; his sister, Janet E. Welsh; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Hopkins; and brother-in-law, George Roeder I.
Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a traffic controller, an owner of The Terrace Restaurant, a home builder, and an apartment owner, but is first remembered as a great husband, father, sibling, grandparent, and if you knew him, friend.
A Mass was celebrated at St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church, 219 S. North St., Washington Court House, Ohio, today at 11 a.m.
