Clifford L. Leonard
MOUNT VERNON — Clifford L. Leonard, 76, of Arch Avenue, Mount Vernon, passed away Friday, May 26, 2006, at his son’s home.

He was born on Dec. 17, 1929, in Fredericktown to the late Clifford B. and Dorothea (Schroeder) Leonard. Clifford was employed for 20 years in the village of Fredericktown and served as a volunteer fireman for 35 years. He was a member of the Knox County Joint Veteran’s Council; a member of the Colonial City Moose 2555; the Fredericktown American Legion Joe Cocanower Post 500, where he served as the past post commander, secretary and treasurer; the Mount Vernon American Legion Dan Stone Post, the AMVETS Post 95; and the Mount Vernon Veterans of Foreign War (VFW). He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1948-52.

He is survived by his son, Douglas (Alice) Leonard of Mount Vernon; a daughter, Rita (Harmon) Gaddis of Mount Vernon; and a sister, Erma Louise (Melvin) Duty of Millbury, Ohio.

Besides his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by a stepsister, Wanda Brokaw.

Friends may call Tuesday, May 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown with an Order of the Moose Service starting at 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at the funeral home, beginning at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Bohley officiating. Per Clifford’s request, burial with military honors provided by the Knox County Joint Veteran’s Council will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville.

Nelfie McFadden
DANVILLE — Nelfie McFadden, 72, of Danville died Sunday, May 28, 2006. The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.

Glenn Micheal Mullins
MOUNT VERNON — A graveside service for Glenn Micheal Mullins, 49, of Mount Vernon will be held Wednesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Mount Zion Cemetery, Bladensburg.

Glenn died May 27, 2006, in Mount Vernon. He was born Oct. 27, 1956, in Wyandotte, Mich., to Milton Mullins Jr. and the late Adarene (Tackett) Mullins.

He worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation for 27 years and retired in 1997. Glenn graduated in 1976 from Utica High School where he was involved in FFA. He was a 4-H advisor for Country Outlaws and loved working with the kids. Glenn enjoyed canning and farming and was really looking forward to being a grandfather. He was vice president of Knox County Rabbit Breeders Association.

He is survived by his father, Milton Mullins Jr. of Utica; daughters, Holly (Dave) Fluhart of Utica, Wendy Mullins and fiancé, Tim Davis, of Shreve and Michelle Mullins of the home; and stepgrandchildren, Christeen, James and Stephanie.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Randi Carol (Allen) Mullins; mother, Adarene Mullins; and granddaughter, Destiny Dawn Fluhart.

Randi Carol Mullins
MOUNT VERNON — A graveside service for Randi Carol Mullins, 48, of Mount Vernon will be held Wednesday, May 31, at 11 a.m. in Mount Zion Cemetery, Bladensburg.

Randi died May 27, 2006, in Mount Vernon. She was born March 3, 1958, in Mount Vernon to Carroll E. Allen and the late Olive Gean (Everrett) Allen.

She graduated in 1977 from Mount Vernon High School and had a degree in computer programming from COTC. Randi was currently working at Ohashi Technica USA Inc. in Sunbury. She was actively involved with 4-H, was head advisor for Country Outlaws and enjoyed working with the kids. Randi was looking forward to being a grandmother and she enjoyed canning and gardening.

She is survived by her father, Carroll E. Allen of Mount Vernon; daughter, Michelle Mullins of the home; stepdaughters, Holly (Dave) Fluhart of Utica, Wendy Mullins and fiancé, Tim Davis, of Shreve; sisters, Laura Ackerman of Mount Vernon, Leslie (Marcell) Gauch of Cincinnati and Judy (Val) Schumway of Roanoke, Va.; brothers, Andrew (Val) Allen of Mount Vernon and Jeff Graf of Pickerington; stepgrandchildren, Christeen, James and Stephanie; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Micheal Mullins; mother, Olive Gean Allen; and stepgranddaughter, Destiny Dawn Fluhart.
