Jo Ann Butler
MANSFIELD — Jo Ann Milligan Shrimplin Butler, 66, of Mansfield died Saturday,
April 22, 2006, at MedCentral Hospital following a long illness.
Jo Ann was born Jan. 16, 1940, in Licking County to Doris Kirkpatrick and Harold Milligan living in the Mansfield and Mount Vernon areas all of her life. She was a 1959 Mount Vernon High School graduate, an avid bowler, retired from Thermo Disk where she had worked as an assembler, and loved to spend time with her family at family gatherings.
Surviving are her husband, John Butler of Mansfield; son, Jerry (Ronda) Shrimplin of Mansfield; one daughter, Diana Beal of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Crystal, Jacob, Amber and Jeremy, whom she loved dearly; six brothers, Harold Jr. (Nick) Milligan, Robert (Colleen) Milligan, Raymond (Bonnie) Milligan, Ronald (Gale) Milligan, all of Mount Vernon, Jeff (Dee) Milligan of North Carolina and Bart Milligan of Columbus; one sister, Jennie Schroeder of Mount Vernon; and her best friend, Mary Ann Rittenberry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara Davis; and a son-in-law, Tim Beal.
Friends may be received Tuesday, April 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wyandotte Freewill Baptist Church, 1164 Wyandotte Ave. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Brian Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.

Lilly Coleman
HOWARD — Lilly Coleman, 64, of Howard died April 22, 2006, Mount Carmel
Hospital East in Columbus.
She was born Nov. 18, 1941, in Logan County, W.Va., to General and Grace (Ward) Maynard.
She is survived by a son, Billy Dwayne Coleman of Malta; three daughters, Glenna Jean (Oss) Prince of Howard, Lou Ann (Curtis) Jones of Pikeville, Ky., and Regina (Mike) Jones of Largo, Fla.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Maynard of Malta, Ohio, and Billy Joe Maynard of Columbus; four sisters, Nora Lou (Charles) Dameron, Peggy Ann (Teddy) Stanley, Dolly Jean (Jim) Whittson and Loretta Kay Davis, all of Columbus.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death her husband, Robert Gene Coleman, in 1987; three brothers, Johnny Maynard, James Edward Maynard and Matthew Fowler; and a sister, Geraldine Maynard.

Janet Conkle
HOWARD — Janet Conkle, 58, of McIntosh Drive, Howard, passed away Saturday,
April 22, 2006, at her residence with her family by her side following a nine-month
battle with a heart condition.
Janet was born Dec. 15, 1947, in Mount Vernon, a daughter of the late Glenn and Opal (Taylor) Petry. Bob and Janet were members of the Grace Community Church in Mount Vernon. She worked at the Mount Vernon Developmental Center for 16 years as an aide and ward charge. Janet loved to crochet and was an avid bingo player. She also took great pride in helping others who were in need.
Janet is survived by her loving husband, Robert L. “Bob” Conkle, whom she married on Aug. 3, 1963; her caring daughters, Becky Conkle of Howard and Anita (Jeffrey) Muncie of Bladensburg; two grandsons, Dustin and Mark Runyon; a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Runyon; a special niece, Judith (Rick) Reed of Dundee, Mich.; a brother, Mike Petry of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two sisters, Nancy Kaufman of Brownstown, Mich., and Pat Petry-Bond of Akron.
Family and friends will be received at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, from 1 p.m. until time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25. Roger Tickle will officiate the service. Inurnment will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
