Kenneth R. Harris
MOUNT VERNON — Kenneth R. Harris, 54, of Mount Vernon, formerly of St. Clairsville,
died Monday, Jan. 30, 2006, at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Research
Institute in Columbus.
He was born Aug. 4, 1951, in Martins Ferry, son of Robert S. and Frances Arleen (Ault) Harris. Kenneth was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School. He was an employee of H&C Telephone Co. in Mount Vernon.
Surviving are his wife, Cheryl (Crumpler) Harris; his mother, Frances Arleen Harris; a son, Zane Harris of Jacobsburg; a daughter, Jessica Harris of Jewett; a brother, Jerry (Barb) Harris of Mount Vernon; a sister, Connie (Tom) Costine of St. Clairsville; and a granddaughter, Pennelope Wymer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harris.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.

Charles D. Treen
DANVILLE — Charles Dale Treen, 65, of Millersburg Road, Danville, died Tuesday,
Jan. 31, 2006, at the Country Court Nursing Center.
He was born July 29, 1940, in Charleston, W.Va. He was a member of the Colonial City Moose Lodge in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by two sons, Bryan Treen of Mount Vernon and Dale Treen II of Middleburg, Fla.; a daughter, Saunja Smith of Mount Vernon; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Conrad Treen of Southgate, Calif.; and a special friend, Marcella Blaisdell and her family.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Clara Susan Ebert; his mother, Garnet Treen; and his father, Allen C. Treen.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
