Dan E. Bartlett
FREDERICKTOWN — Dan E. Bartlett, 81, of Old Mansfield Road, Fredericktown,
passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Whispering Hills Care Center.
He was born Feb. 1, 1924, in Mount Vernon to the late Larry and Violet (Jones) Bartlett Sr. Dan farmed all of his life and also co-owned and operated Bartlett Brothers Farm and Sawmill Inc. He served on many boards including the Knox County Fair Board for over 25 years; the Licking Rural Electrification Inc. Board of Trustees for 43 years, where he retired as vice president of the board in 2002; and was a Morris Township Trustee for over 30 years. Dan was a member of the Morris Grange, Farm Bureau, 4-H and had the Ohio State Fair Grand Champion Guernsey for three years. Dan will always be remembered for lending a helpful hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marie (Walter) Bartlett; three daughters, Linda (Dick) Van Meter of Columbus, Sandy (Robert) Kreiling of Bellville and Carolyn (Angelo) Pezzullo of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada; two grandsons, Michael and Justin Pezzullo; two brothers, Larry (Anna) Bartlett Jr. and Frank (Eleanor) Bartlett, both of Fredericktown.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Jeremy and Joshua Goff.
Friends may call Monday from noon to 3 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery.

Pauline M. McKenzie
HENDERSON, Nev. — Pauline May McKenzie, 66, of Henderson, Nev., died Dec.
23, 2005, at her residence. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. McKenzie was born May 8, 1939, in Gambier, Ohio, and lived in Henderson, Nev., since 1994. Pauline was a precious gift from heaven. Before moving to Henderson, Nev., she had lived in Montana and Alaska for several years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years of marriage, Richard McKenzie of Henderson, Nev.; two daughters, Gwen McKenzie of Romona, Calif., and Pamela (Rick) Ingraham of Whitefish, Mont.; one granddaughter, Brynn Ingraham, and grandson, Connor Ingraham of Whitefish, Mont.; and a half sister, Dorothy Lahmon of Mount Vernon.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Earl and Ray Gorsuch.
Burial services were held in Columbia Falls, Mont.
