FREDERICKTOWN — Walter G. Bishop, 78, of Quaker Road, Fredericktown, passed
away Friday, Oct. 7, 2005, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. The
Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas E. Gallagher
BRADENTON, Fla. — Thomas E. Gallagher, 54, of Bradenton, Fla., passed away
Oct. 5, 2005, after a brief illness.
Tom was born in Mount Vernon on July 6, 1951, the son of Lewis J. and Joan (Burris) Gallagher. He graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1969. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972, and was a sales associate at Home Depot in Bradenton.
He is survived by a son, Timothy of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; his fiancee, Lynne Presley; his mother, Joan of Fredericktown; two brothers, Mike (Cindy) Gallagher of Delaware and Dan (Diane) Gallagher of Bradenton.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Lewis, in 2002.
The Good Earth Crematory in Bradenton, Fla., was in charge of cremation. A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Tom Gallagher to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238-5188.
Freeda I. Grossman
MANSFIELD — Freeda Irene Grossman, 91, of Mansfield died Oct. 5, 2005, in
MedCentral Health System, Mansfield.
She was born Jan. 17, 1914, in Fredericktown, to Marcus S. and Amelia B. (Myers) Kaufman.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Grossman of Johnsville and Paul Mark Grossman of Mansfield; two daughters, Genevieve R. Boudinot of Glendale, Ariz., and Doris L. McAbee of Sun City, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 14-great-great grandchildren; a sister, Imogene Cutter of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Grossman, who died Nov. 14, 1967; three grandchildren; a sister, Eunice Mellott; and six brothers, Junior Dale, Don, Ralph, Sammy, Robert and Wallace Kaufman.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home. The worship service, giving glory to God for the life of Freeda Grossman, will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Diamond Hills Baptist Church, 647 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The Rev. Christopher Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow in Shauck Cemetery.
