Esther Mae Yarman
MOUNT VERNON — Esther Mae Yarman, 97, of Wooster Road, Mount Vernon, passed
away Thursday, June 9, 2005, at the Country Club Retirement Campus.
She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in Perry County, Ohio, the daughter of Marshall and May (Horn) Snider. Esther was a graduate of the Thornville High School and also of Manchester College in Manchester, Ind. She was a former high school teacher at Amity High School. She was a member of the Owl Creek Church of the Brethren in Ankenytown.
Surviving is a son, Gene (Jane) Yarman of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Rosalie (Robert) Dinkelacker of Cincinnati and Janice (David) Noble of Hackettstown, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond H. Yarman; and two infant daughters, Marilyn and Joyce.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Owl Creek Church of the Brethren in Ankenytown with The Rev. James Lifer officiating. Friends may call at the church Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Owl Creek Cemetery in Ankenytown. These arrangements are under the care and direction of the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
