Robert G. Tulloss
SPOKANE, WASH. — Robert G. Tulloss, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 20,
2005, in Spokane, Wash.
Bob was born May 13, 1924, in Mount Vernon to Jim and Lena Tulloss. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in Italy and Africa. Bob graduated from The Ohio State University in 1955, in mechanical engineering. He married Marcia L. Weigelt in 1954 and moved to Spokane, Wash. He worked at Union Iron Works, then owned and operated Spokane Compressor Co. for over 15 years. He was a longtime member of Westminister Congregational UCC Church and was a Meals on Wheels volunteer.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marcia of Spokane, Wash.; son, John R. Tulloss of San Diego, Calif.; daughter, Jean (Rick) Shauvin, and grandsons, Ryan and Brandon Hunt, all of Spokane, Wash.; his niece, Karlena Bowsher of Sunbury; and nephew, Robert Lamson of Mount Vernon.
A graveside service was held April 23, 2005, in Dartford Cemetery.
Ralph Wilkinson Jr.
MOUNT VERNON — Ralph H. Wilkinson Jr., 92, of Mount Vernon died April 11,
2005, at The Inn at HillenVale.
He was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Ralph H. and Margaret (Getz) Wilkinson. He was a World War II Army veteran, where he received the Good Conduct, WWII Victory and American Theater service medals; and the Meritorious Unit Award.
He is survived by his wife, Sunny, of Mount Vernon.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at The Inn at HillenVale.
