Hazel I. Hess
WEST JEFFERSON — Hazel I. Hess, 85, of West Jefferson went to be with the
Lord on March 9, 2005, at Arbors West Nursing Home in West Jefferson.
She was born on July 25, 1919, in Brandon to Lewis and Mary (Arrington) Higgins. She was a member of the St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Columbus.
She is survived by five sons, Raymond (Margie) Hess of Lancaster, Ronald (Melanie) Hess of Verner, W.Va., Ralph (Lisa) Hess of Columbus, Roy (Mary Lou) Hess of Galloway and Roland (Mary Ann) Hess of Lancaster; a sister, Jean Hoh of Martinsburg; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Delber L. Hess; a daughter, Jo Anne Hess; sister, Martha Wolfe; and two brothers, Roy and Earl Higgins.
Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Harris-Dilley Funeral Home in Bladensburg, where funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Pastor Vijay Buck will officiate. Burial will be in Martinsburg Methodist Cemetery.

Dorothy Hartman Lambert
NEWARK — Dorothy M. Hartman Lambert, 85, of Newark passed away March 8,
2005, at Newark Healthcare Center following a long illness.
She was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to John and Helen Marlowe.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Larry) Foster of Reynoldsburg and Mary Disbennett of Newark; a son, E. Eugene Hartman of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and one grandson.
Private calling hours were held for the family on Wednesday, March 9, at Criss Schoedinger Funeral Home in Newark. Interment will be at a later date in Forest Lawn, Columbus.
Carolyn Theil
ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. — Carolyn Theil, 79, died March 6, 2005.
She was born March 1, 1926 in Mount Vernon.
She was the beloved wife of the late Willis Brown, mother of Janet, Nancy, Pat and Steve; grandmother of 11; great-grandmother of eight; and sister of Peg Yoder and Charlotte Wise.
Memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lakeshore Presbyterian Church, 27801 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Mich.

away Thursday, March 10, 2005, at his residence. The service arrangements are

Norma J. Viderman
MARENGO — Norma Jean Viderman, 80, of Marengo died unexpectedly Wednesday
morning, March 9, 2005, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to William and Harriett (Hayman) Detzel. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and sewing.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph H. Viderman Jr. of Marengo, Jerry (Glenda) Viderman of Bellville, William (Chris) Barbour Jr. of New York, N.Y., and Robert (Sandy) Barbour of Minerva; her daughter, Sonja (Bill) Justice of Pomeroy; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Joseph H. Viderman Sr., on May 25, 2001; and brothers and sisters.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 229, Marengo, where funeral service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Joe Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville.
