Gary W. Paazig
MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. — Gary Wayne Paazig, 46, died Feb. 28, 2005, at his home in Mount Juliet, Tenn.

He was born Nov. 16, 1958, in Mount Vernon. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School and he attended Central Ohio Technical College, graduating with a degree in electronics. He ran a business in TV and VCR repair for many years. He moved to Mount Juliet, Tenn., seven months ago.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber Paazig of Mount Vernon; and his sister, Sheryl Reed of Mount Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his son, Gabriel Wayne Paazig; his father, Bernard Wayne Paazig; and his mother, Loretta Jean Paazig.

A private memorial service will be held.

Elizabeth Taylor
MOUNT VERNON — Elizabeth C. “Boots” Taylor, 85, of Mount Vernon died Tuesday evening, March 1, 2005, at Knox Community Hospital.

She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Mount Vernon to Ernest and Nellie (Tasher) Goossens.

She is survived by a daughter, Janet (Arthur “Bud”) Dailey of Mount Vernon; and two brothers, John Goossens and Paul (Verdabell) Goossens, both of Mount Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Taylor; daughter, Susan Bontrager; four sisters, Lillian Vail, Marie Hays, Allora Watson and Margaret Rogers; and two brothers, Fred and Irvin Goossens.

Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the North-Dilley Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Friendship Cemetery, with Major James Sayer officiating.

Eileen P. Thompson
BUTLER — Eileen P. “Peggy” Thompson, 82, of Morning View Care Center, Danville, and formerly of Syler Road, Butler, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Knox Community Hospital following an extended illness.

She was born Feb. 7, 1923, in Cleveland to Thomas and Edna (Linfoot) Tucker, and was a graduate of Euclid Shore High School with the class of 1941.

Eileen is survived by her three stepchildren, the Rev. Wendell (Betty) Thompson of Bellville, Ruth (Cecil) Necessary of Arvada, Colo., and Norma (Irvin) Schiller of Sarasota, Fla.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol Johnson of Chardon; and a special niece, Cathy Billings of East Claridon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, whom she married Dec. 28, 1957. He died Jan. 11, 2002. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Billings and Mariane Pollari.

Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Snoke will officiate. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.

Memorial contributions to St. Luke Catholic Church, Danville, may be made at the funeral home.
