Florence M. Gilbert
THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Florence Marie Gilbert, 89, died Jan. 20, 2005, at Conroe Medical Center, Conroe, Texas, following a short illness.

She was born on Feb. 18, 1915, in Hilliar Township, Knox County, to Leroy and Ola (Miller) Miesse. She graduated from Centerburg High School in 1933 and was a longtime resident of Mount Vernon. She was married in 1940 to Elmo E. Gilbert and was an active member of the Gay Street Methodist Church and the Pleasant Grange. She was a homemaker and loving mother and will be missed by her many friends in both Ohio and Texas.

Florence is survived by her two sons, Darrell (Nancy) Gilbert of Duluth, Minn., and Ronald (Rae) Gilbert of Magnolia, Texas; grandchildren, Lisa (Greg) Oakes, Scott (Jamie) Gilbert, Niki (Andy Wallace) Gilbert and Jon (Bobbi) Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Dominick and Scotty Gilbert and Alex Oakes; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmo, who died in 1991; a brother, Donald Miesse; and a sister, Irene (Carl) Miller.

There will not be a service; however, a Celebration of Life memorial will be held in Ohio at a later time. Friends can contact the family at darrelgilbert@cs.com for details.

Stella Minideo
MOUNT VERNON — Stella Minideo, 92, of Mount Vernon died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

Stella was born Dec. 4, 1912, in Piedmont to Cephas and Anna (Corban) Johnson and had lived most of her lifetime in Mount Vernon. Stella had been employed as a legal secretary. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Nieces and nephews survive Stella.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Minideo; four brothers; and two sisters.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Dover, with close family friend the Rev. David Porterfield officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.

Michael G. Trigg
PATASKALA — Michael G. Trigg, 49, of Pataskala went to sleep to be with the Lord on Jan. 26, 2005.

Michael was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Cleveland.

He is survived by his wife, Patti Trigg; two daughter, Katherine and Alexandra Trigg; five loving sisters and their families; father- and mother-in-law, Richard and Susan Huggins; a great-aunt, Margaret Nash; and a special K-9 friend, Max.

Memorial service was today at 11 a.m. at the Pataskala United Methodist Church. Kauber-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Arthur E. Williams
MOUNT VERNON — Arthur Earl Williams, 95, of Mount Vernon, died Jan. 26, 2005, at Country Court Nursing Center. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
