BUTLER — Elizabeth P. Hackett, 60, of Carson Road, Butler, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at her residence.
Elizabeth was born Feb. 2, 1944, at Wallington, Surrey, England, to Leonard and Joan (Burnand) Holloway and had been a resident of Knox County since 1994.
Surviving are her husband, Timothy P. Hackett, whom she married July 17, 1971; her two sons, Michael Hackett and John Hackett, both of Columbus; her sister, Judith C. St. Clair of Zanesville; and her brother, Christopher J. Holloway of Ferring, Sussex, England.
Her parents preceded her in death.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Mound View Cemetery in Mount Vernon, with the Rev. Merlyn Jones officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.

Douglas E. Jacobsen
HOWARD — Douglas Edward Jacobsen, 73, of Apple Valley passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at his home.
He was born Aug. 11, 1931, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Jacob Bjorn and Ingeborg (Karlsrud) Jacobsen. Mr. Jacobsen worked and retired as a chemical engineer for Tenneco and had been a resident of the Apple Valley area for the past five years.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary (Treyz) Jacobsen; three sons, Roger (Cindy) Jacobsen of Powell, Paul Jacobsen of Newport Beach, Calif., and Roy (Estrella) Jacobsen of Columbus; and five grandchildren, Rachel, Ashley, Ryan, Shawn and Matthew Jacobsen.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private graveside service at a later date. The arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.
