Rosalie Emmert
MOUNT VERNON — Rosalie Emmert, 66, of Johnson Avenue, Mount Vernon, passed
away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at the Ohio State University Medical Center in
Columbus.
She was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Knox County, daughter to Howard and Marcella Mae (Alberts) Wolford. A Knox County resident all of her life, Rosalie was employed for 25 years as a custodian for the Mount Vernon City Schools and was a member of the Women of the Moose.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don Emmert; two daughters, Pattie Woods and Donna (Eddie) Stage, both of Mount Vernon; her mother, Marcella Mae Wolford of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, LeAnn (Rob) VanAtta, Todd Woods, Erik Stage and Austin Stage; three great-grandchildren, Branson Doyle, Devon Doyle and Tristyn Doyle; five brothers, Paul (Juanita) Wolford, John (Nancy) Wolford and George (Ellen) Wolford, all of Mount Vernon, and Ronald Wolford and Joe (Faye) Wolford, both of Howard; two sisters, Otis Davis of Mount Vernon and Millie (Carl) Boyd of Lafayette, Tenn.; a special sister-in-law, Mildred Wolford; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Arthur and Walter Wolford.
Friends may call Sunday, Nov. 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.

William W. Willis
CENTERBURG — William W. Willis, 81, of Centerburg died Sunday, Nov. 21,
2004.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by sons, Robert, Chris (Connie), Harry (Donna) and Harold Willis; a daughter, Shirley (Tom) Blanken; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ervi and Eva Willis; a son, Richard Willis; and a sister, Doris.
Friends may call Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where funeral will follow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jock Clouston will officiate. Interment will be in Bloomfield Cemetery.
