Paul W. Kaiser
HAINES CITY, Fla. — Paul William Kaiser, 85, of Haines City, Fla., formerly
of Plain City and Mount Vernon, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, in Crossroads Nursing
Home, Davenport, Fla.
He was born Feb. 10, 1919, in Hilliard and was a 1938 graduate of Hilliard High School. Paul was a truck driver for Refiners Transport of Columbus for 38 years. A World War II Army veteran, he was a life member of the VFW Darby Post 3268 of Plain City. He was very active with the formation of the Plain City Little League Baseball Organization (PCABA), for whom the Little League diamond is named Kaiser Field.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Isabelle Marie (Sidner) Kaiser, whom he married on June 11, 1940, in Kentucky; a daughter, Beverly (Joe) Glick of Prospect; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Kaiser of Coldwater; grandchildren, Todd Glick of Plain City, Tim (Cindy) Glick of West Jefferson, Michael (Angie) Kaiser of Sarasota, Fla., John Kaiser of Bradenton, Fla., and Sarah Beetley; and great-grandchildren, Kelsy Glick, Clayton Glick, and Kevin and Allison Beetley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. and Sarah (Van Houten) Kaiser; a son, Michael Kaiser, in 2001; brothers, Ray and Howard Kaiser; and a sister, Lillian Walker.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St., (Ohio 161 West) Plain City. Graveside service will be Friday at 10 a.m. in Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.

Nicholas A. Woody
COLUMBUS — Nicholas Allan Woody, age 1 year, 2 months, 3 days, of Columbus
died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004.
He is survived by his parents, Chris and Deb Woody; a brother, Daniel; a sister, Alexis; grandparents, Steve and Donna Woody, Ray and Carolyn Stewart, and Jon and Florence Cleary; uncles, Brian Woody and Ed Cleary; aunt, Margaret (Dave) Foster; cousins, Danika and Jon; and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Daniel and Ruth Woody, Ed and Margaret Cleary, and Paul and Almeda Sheets.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Mount Vernon, 303 S. Edgewood Road, Mount Vernon. Pastor Robert Hendricks will officiate. Arrangements are by Rutherford Funeral Home, 2383 N. High St., Columbus.
