Ruth W. Reiheld
GLENMONT — Ruth W. Reiheld, 83, of Glenmont died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004,
following a brief illness.
She was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Glouster, Ohio, the daughter of Pearl H. and Pearl P. (Faust) Turner. On Oct. 7, 1939, she married Philip Reiheld, who preceded her in death April 7, 1993. She was a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church and Nashville Grange; served on the election board, Democratic Central Committee and Holmes County Farm Bureau; and was a Scout leader.
Surviving are seven children, Donna Smetzer of Big Prairie, Bill (Coralie) Reiheld of Danville, Joyce (Jim) Croskey of Millersburg, Dick (Shirley) of Howard, Pat (Skeeter) Martin of Shreve, Bob (Cindy) Reiheld of Glenmont and Chuck (Billie) Reiheld of Shreve; 22 grandchildren; and 30 and a half great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian; two sons-in-law, Jim Smetzer and Derrick Martin; a great-grandson, Joshua James Smetzer; two nephews, Bob and Chuck Berry; and a niece, Pat McNeely.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Alexander Funeral Home at Millersburg, where funeral will be Monday at 1 p.m. Pastor Patrick Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in Kaylor Ridge Cemetery at Glenmont.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kaylor Ridge Cemetery Association.
