Marian I. Debolt
CENTERBURG — Marion I. Debolt, 93, of Centerburg died Oct. 1, 2004.
She was a retired school teacher from the Centerburg school system. She was a 75-year member of Manilla Chapter 100, OES; 50-year member of Alpha Club; and a member of the Centerburg United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer at ISS for 20 years.
She is survived by a son, David (Joan) Debolt of Bradford, Pa.; a daughter, Dianne Moreland of Centerburg; grandchildren, Kathleen (David) Jarzebek, Tom (Kay) Moreland, Kyle (Mary) Moreland and Amie (Sam) Myers; great-grandchildren, Louis and Lillian Jarzebek, Katelyn and Kara Moreland, Hunter Myers and Isabell Moreland; a sister-in-law, Helen Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Debolt; and two brothers, DeVon and Bob Brown.
Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Johnson-Melick-Moreland Funeral Home, 49 W. Church St., Centerburg, where funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Gary Pollock will officiate. Interment will be in Eastview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Centerburg United Methodist Church or Centerburg Conservation Club.
Arthur R. Miller
MOUNT VERNON — Arthur Ralph Miller, 90, of Mount Vernon died Friday afternoon,
Oct. 1, 2004, at his residence. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is in charge of
arrangements.
Pearl Miller
MOUNT VERNON — Pearl Miller, 81, of Vernonview Drive, Mount Vernon, passed
away Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
She was born March 31, 1923, in Cleveland to Melvin and Florence (Platt) Miller.
She is survived by her brother, Melvin (Frances) Miller of Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Myers of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pearl will also be greatly missed by her friend and caregiver, Phyllis Rettig; and all the staff of the Mount Vernon Developmental Center.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Pavonia Cemetery at Mansfield. The Rev. James Winkler will officiate. These services are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home.
