HOWARD — John B. Donofrio, 64, of Howard passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. Funeral arrangements will be through the care and direction of Snyder Funeral Homes of Mount Vernon.

Richard N. LaFever
MOUNT VERNON — Richard N. LaFever, 79, of Mount Vernon passed away Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon. Funeral arrangements will be through the care and direction of Snyder Funeral Homes in Mount Vernon.

Stephen J. Peck
KENNESAW, Ga. — Stephen Joseph Peck, 46, of Kennesaw, Ga., died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004.

He was a member of the National Rose Society and Atlanta Rose Society. His hobbies were roses and NASCAR.

He is survived by his father, Edmund Peck of Tampa, Fla.; his mother, Helen Peck of Tampa, Fla.; his wife, Teresa Ann (Graham) Peck of Kennesaw, Ga.; two sons, Stephen Joseph Peck II of Tampa, Fla., and Charles George Bryan of Tallahassee, Fla.; a daughter, Karri (Mike) Bomboy of Lutz, Fla.; two sisters, Deborah Ann Peck of Tampa, Fla., and Theresa (Buster) DeLong of Canton, Ga.; and his grandmother, Antonina Brito.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Bobby” Peck.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, where a memorial service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Pastor Steve Swafford will officiate.

Mark A. Wilson
HOWARD — Mark Allen Wilson, 20, of Howard died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born Oct. 17, 1983, to Robert W. and Donna (Kokensparger) Wilson of Mount Vernon and had lived most of his lifetime in the Knox County area. Mark was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School and the Knox County Career Center.

Surviving besides his parents are his wife, Kristen M. (Day) Wilson; his daughter, Destiny Wilson of the home; paternal grandparents, John and Irene Wilson of Danville; his sister, Jodi Combs of Brandon; and five brothers, Roger Rine of Newark, Scott Wilson of Michigan, Jeff Wilson of Mount Vernon, Jason Wilson of Marion and Shane Wilson of Mount Vernon.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Wilson.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be held at a later date in Fallsburg Cemetery. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is in charge of arrangements.
