Harold E. Linsley
MOUNT VERNON — Harold Edward Linsley, 86, of Mount Vernon died Friday, Aug.
6, 2004, at Country Court Nursing Center.
He was born July 4, 1918, in Charlotte, Mich., to Roy and Lillian (Santee) Linsley. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Hill Church, Dan Emmett Grange and affiliated with the Knox County Agricultural Museum.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beatrice (Punches) Linsley; one son, Ed (Becky) Linsley of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Marilyn (Herb) Goronzy and Sharon (Steven) Morris, both of College Dale, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the North-Dilley Funeral Home, where funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Ted Bartter will officiate. Burial will be in Mound View Cemetery.

Helen (Harris) Lennington Patman
BELLVILLE — Helen Lennington Patman, 91, of Bellville died Aug. 5, 2004,
in the Lexington Court Care Center.
Helen was born June 28, 1913, in Knox County to Jeremiah and Flora (Allen) Harris. She was instrumental in getting house-to-house mail delivery service in Bellville. Helen was a gifted artist, specially with watercolors.
She is survived by daughters, Janet (Jim) Sutton of Dallas, Texas, and Jane (Robert) Reed of Bellville; daughter-in-law, Barbara Lennington of Mount Vernon; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Grant E. Lennington; her second husband, Eugene M. “Beany” Patman; a son, James E. Lennington; a grandson, Andy Lennington; two brothers, Willis Harris and Dale Harris; and two sisters, Beulah Keever and Edna Spayde.
Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
