Lucille K. Baluck
MOUNT VERNON — Lucille K. Baluck, 71, of Mount Vernon died May 18, 2004,
at Knox Community Hospital.
She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Roulou, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Charles J. and Odelia (Fahlman) Schiller. She loved our Lord dearly. She came to the United States in 1954 and became a citizen in 1999. She loved gardening and bowling, and was an avid tournament duplicate bridge player in her younger years.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Francis M. Baluck; a daughter, Susan M. (Michael) Needles of Newark; three grandchildren, Mercedes K., Somer N. and Desirae L.; sisters, Millie Schubert and Phyllis Muellor, both of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and Lourraine Whalen of Beloit, Wis.; and a brother, Edwin Schiller of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven R. Baluck.
Graveside service will be Saturday, May 22, at 11 a.m. in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. The Law-Baker Funeral Home, Utica, assisted with arrangements.
Sharon Heyder
SUNBURY — Sharon Heyder, 63, of Sunbury died May 19, 2004, at St. Ann’s
Hospital, Westerville.
She was born June 4, 1940, in Delaware to William and Lena (Zimmer) Brokaw. She was a 1958 graduate of Ashley High School and moved to Sunbury in 1976 from Delaware. She was a retired secretary with the State of Ohio Youth Commission.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughters, Candy (Jerry) Phillips of Marengo, Cindy (Doug) Patrick of Delaware and Cathy (Garland) Baack of Hilliard; stepdaughters, Bonnie Hassan of Delaware and Dawn Heyder of Columbus; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother and three sisters.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three great-grandchildren, Emanuel, Douglas and Baily.
Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sunbury, where service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sunbury Memorial Park.
