Ralph Bebout Franks
LOUDONVILLE — Ralph E. Bebout Franks, 54, of 922 S. Mount Vernon Ave., Loudonville,
died Saturday afternoon, April 24, 2004, at Samaritan Hospital, Ashland, following
a brief illness.
Mr. Franks was born March 21, 1950, in Mount Vernon and was a 1968 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. He had lived in Washington state for over 20 years before moving to Loudonville in November 2003. He was a driver for Wooster Motor Ways and had driven trucks for many years in Washington. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Vietnam.
He is survived by three sisters, Malinda L. Smith of Mount Gilead, Barbara V. Secrist of Hicksville and Diane E. Bolen of Loudonville; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Earl Bebout; and his mother, Alice Elizabeth Winegardner.
Memorial service will be Saturday, May 1, at 10 a.m. in Fairview Freewill Baptist Church, 15271 Vance Road, Mount Vernon, with the Rev. Crate Sparks officiating.
The Byerly-Lindsey Funeral Home in Loudonville is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kevin S. Ryan
UTICA — Kevin Scott Ryan, 23, of Utica died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at
Licking Memorial Hospital, Newark.
He was born Nov. 4, 1980, in Newark to Dwight C. and Annita K. (Stickel) Ryan. A 1999 graduate of Utica High School and Licking County Joint Vocational School, he was employed by Multi Trades Construction of Reynoldsburg. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a friend to all.
He is survived by his parents of Utica; a brother, Jason (Stephanie) Ryan of Mount Vernon; paternal grandparents, Carl and Rowena Ryan of Utica; and two nieces, Mykala and Ashlyn Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Isabelle Stickel; and an uncle, Michael Stickel.
Calling hours will be today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica. Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church, 595 Goosepond Road, Newark. Pastor Tim Carr will officiate. Burial will be in South Lawn Cemetery.
