Marie J. Glibert
MOUNT VERNON — Marie J. Glibert, 92, of Mount Vernon died Friday, April 9, 2004, at the Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon.

Mrs. Glibert was born June 13, 1911, in Brussels, Belgium, to Philippe H. and Therese (Schoenmans) Luyting and had lived most of her lifetime in the Mount Vernon area. She had been an employee of the former Shellmar Manufacturing Co. in Mount Vernon and was a member of the First Church of God on Pine Street in Mount Vernon. Marie will be missed by her family and many friends from Hiawatha Village and the church.

Surviving are her son, Maurice (Elaine) Glibert of Williamstown, W.Va.; her son-in-law, Richard Eberhart of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Cheryl (Michael) Bailey of Parkersburg, W.Va., Tom (Sarah) Glibert of Mount Vernon, Sue (Barry) Dailey of Howard and Linda (Randy) Broceus of Mount Vernon; nine great-grandchildren, Brian (Kim) Bailey of Raleigh, N.C., Brent Bailey of Parkersburg, Nikki, Chris, Tad and Alex Glibert all of Mount Vernon, Ashley Scott of Mount Vernon, Aaron Scott of Cincinnati and Matt (Kellie) Dailey of Howard; and two great-great-grandchildren, Logan Bailey of Parkersburg and Annalise Dailey of Howard.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerard Glibert; and a daughter, Loretta Eberhart.

Friends may call Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Graveside service will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon. The Rev. William Fulda will officiate.

Edith Johnson
MOUNT VERNON — Edith Johnson, 94, of Mount Vernon died Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon. The Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is in charge of arrangements.

Shelby S. Lowe
WARSAW — Shelby Sue Lowe, infant girl, died April 9, 2004, at Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

She was born March 31, 2004, to Kim Allen and Jodi Doral (Chaney) Lowe of 29622 County Road 49, Warsaw.

She is survived by her parents; one sister, Kristi Lowe, three brothers, Robbie Lowe, Peyton Lowe and J.T. Wheeler of the home; and her paternal grandparents, Jack and Judy Lowe of Warsaw.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sue Chaney.

Calling hours will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fischer Funeral Home, Warsaw. A graveside service will be Tuesday, April 13, at 11 a.m. in Blissfield Cemetery. Pastor David Dodridge will officiate.
