Ronald E. Dendinger
MARION — Ronald E. Dendinger, 68, of Marion passed away Friday, March 5, 2004, at his residence following a short illness.

He was born Sept. 13, 1935, in Marion, the son of Frank and Opal (Busler) Dendinger. On June 1, 1957, in Ashley, he married Barbara (Johnston) and she survives in Marion. A Marion resident for 35 years and a U.S. Army veteran, he served two years in Germany.

He was a member of the Marion Salem United Methodist Church where he served as secretary of the Sunday school. He served two years as visitation pastor, was a lay speaker of the Mount Vernon District, a Heart of Ohio Emmaus board member, United Methodist Men’s president of the Mount Vernon District, a Boy Scout leader, a tutor at George Washington Elementary School and a member of the RSVP/Ohio Heartland Community Action Commission. He was an inspector with GM of Ontario for 36 1/2 years, where he was also a member of the UAW Local 549, retiring in 1997. Ronald enjoyed fishing, crafts and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by two sons, Daniel (Lori) Dendinger of Fredericktown and Mark Dendinger of Marion; two daughters, Linda (Harold) Cain of Columbus and Wanda (Jeff) Robinson of Marion; two brothers, Tom (Bonnie) Dendinger and Dick (Vonnie) Dendinger, both of Marion; a sister-in-law, Shirley Dendinger of Edison; and 10 grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer; and a nephew, Dean Donald Dendinger.

Funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Marion Salem United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jim VanMeter and Jeff Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Heights Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County United Veterans Council. Friends may call today from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Boyd Funeral Home and Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Heartland Hospice of Columbus, the American Cancer Society, the Heart of Ohio Emmaus Scholarship Fund or the Marion Salem United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School.

Frank Grogg Sr.
VICTORIA, Texas — Frank Grogg Sr., 60, of Victoria, Texas, died March 2, 2004.
He was born Dec. 14, 1943, in Galion to Gail and Alice Grogg. He was a truck driver for Landstar Inway and a member of the Second Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Shelly Blubaugh and Tami Sue Grogg, both of Mount Vernon; sons, Glenn Grogg and Frank Grogg Jr., both of Bladensburg; five grandchildren; sister, Theresa Cockrell of Fredericktown; brothers, Dave Grogg of Chattanooga, Tenn., Harold Grogg of Loudonville, Tom Grogg of Fredericktown and Bill Grogg of Mount Vernon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Grogg; and a son, Brad Michael Grogg.

The funeral was Sunday in the Colonial North Funeral Home. The Rev. Harvey Knezek officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Victoria, Texas.

Juanita J. Hebron
COSHOCTON — Juanita Jean (Reese) Hebron, 76, of 608 Highland Blvd., Coshocton, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Coshocton County to Harold and Ida (Butler) Reese. On Oct. 25, 1947, she was married to Clarence J. Hebron. She was a member of the Solid Rock Foursquare Church in Coshocton.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence; her mother of Mount Vernon; a son, Jerry (Brenda) Hebron of West Lafayette; a daughter, Linda (Jake) Klink of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Chad (Kristen) Klink of Westerville, Mandi King and Sabrina Hebron, both of Coshocton, and Jeremy Hebron of Conesville; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Colleen Powell of Danville.

She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Lewis G. Reese.

Funeral was Saturday with Pastor Wayne Pessia officiating. Burial was in Darling Run Cemetery. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw handled the arrangements.
