Walter C. Curtis Service Notice
MOUNT VERNON — Graveside service for Walter Chittenden Curtis will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Mound View Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Ransom will officiate. The North-Dilley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Curtis, formerly of Mount Vernon, died Feb. 21, 2004, at Hilton Head, S.C.

Lester A. Durbin

Paul J. Grimm
NEWARK — Paul J. Grimm, 60, of Newark died March 3, 2004, at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.

He was born March 26, 1943, in Mount Vernon.

He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Heskett of Columbus; his son, Barry Grimm of Marion; his mother, Catherine Grimm of Mount Vernon; and a granddaughter, Emily Heskett.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul N. Grimm.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. The North-Dilley Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is in charge of arrangements.

Juanita J. Hebron
COSHOCTON — Juanita Jean (Reese) Hebron, 76, of 608 Highland Blvd., Coshocton, died March 3, 2004, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Coshocton County to Harold and Ida (Butler) Reese. On Oct. 25, 1947, she was married to Clarence J. Hebron. She was a member of the Solid Rock Foursquare Church in Coshocton.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence; her mother of Mount Vernon; a son, Jerry (Brenda) Hebron of West Lafayette; a daughter, Linda (Jake) Klink of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Chad (Kristen) Klink of Westerville, Mandi King and Sabrina Hebron, both of Coshocton, and Jeremy Hebron of Conesville; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Colleen Powell of Howard.

Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, where the funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. Pastor Wayne Pessia will officiate. Burial will be in Darling Run Cemetery.

Matilda ‘Tillie’ Totten
MARENGO — Matilda “Tillie” Totten, 94, of Marengo died at home Sunday morning, Feb. 29, 2004.

She was born Oct. 17, 1909, in Yagada, Russia, to Henry and Anna Marie (Geier) Scheidmiller. She migrated to Calvary, Canada, in 1912 at the age of 2, then her family moved to St. John, Wash.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan L. Adkins of Marengo; grandchildren, Mark (Peggy) Adkins, Chris (Nancy) Adkins; three great-grandchildren, Mindy Sue, Trevor and Ryan Adkins; and two brothers, Elmer Scheidmiller of Liberty Lake, Wash., and Harvey Scheidmiller of St. John, Wash.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 46 years, Lemard C. Totten, who died Jan. 5, 1978; eight brothers; and a sister.

Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sunbury, where funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Beverly Hall will officiate. Interment will be in Sunbury Memorial Park.

Virginia H. Workman
UTICA — Virginia H. Workman, 84, of North Main Street, Utica, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at Knox Community Hospital. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
