Harold Gattshall
FREDERICKTOWN — Harold D. Gattshall, 88, of Fredericktown died Feb. 26,
2004, in the Whispering Hills Care Center, Mount Vernon.
He was born Aug. 19, 1915, in Cardington to John and Sophia (Mathias) Gattshall. He operated a family farm and worked for 38 years as a tool and die maker for HPM Corp. in Mount Gilead until retiring.
Harold is survived by his wife of 65 years, Theda (Bending) Gattshall; two sons, Donald (Pat) Gattshall of Virginia Beach, Va., and Dale (Carla) Gattshall of Columbus; three daughters, Eileen (Norton) Dumbaugh of Fredericktown, Carol (Lewis) Green of Galion and Cheryl (Ronald) McMahon of Bellville; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wilbert Gattshall of Claridon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walter, Gerald and Ralph; and two sisters, Alma and Geneva.
The Rev. Larry Draper will conduct the funeral Saturday at
11 a.m. in the Craven Funeral Home in Mount Gilead. Friends may call one hour
prior to the service.

Linda S. Hauger
SAGINAW, Mich. — Linda Sue (Cotton) Hauger, 56, went home to be with the
Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004.
Linda was born in 1947 in Warren, and graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1965 and The Ohio State School of Cosmetology in 1967. Linda married Terry Hauger in 1967 and moved to Saginaw, Mich., in 1968. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Saginaw and active in their nursery ministry. Linda was employed in the orthodontic industry for several years and most recently in the office of Larry Leddy, D.D.S., M.S., P.C.
Surviving are her husband, Terry, of Saginaw Township; sons, Matthew Martin (Mary) Hauger and their children, Ryan Ellis and Emily Claire, of Rocky River, Stephen Joseph (Ginny) Hauger and their daughter, Jenna Margaret, of Fredericksburg, Va., Brian Thomas Hauger of Saginaw Township; her father, Joe (Pat) Cotton of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers, Tim (Kathy) Cotton of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bradley (Tina) Cotton of Denver, Colo., Jon (Tracy) Cotton of Des Moines, Iowa; her father-in-law, Ellis Hauger of Port Richey, Fla.; sister-in-law, Jodi (Mike) Collier of Cadillac, Mich.; special friend, Lillian Bell of Saginaw Township; as well as several precious nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her mother, Shirley Cotton; and mother-in-law,
Ina Hauger.
Pastor Mark Hazen will conduct a memorial service Monday at 11 a.m. at Immanuel
Baptist Church, Mason and Congress, Saginaw, Mich. A committal service will be
held at Chapel Hill Cemetery at a later date.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — John Thomas Higgins, 48, of Orange Park, Fla., died
Feb. 26, 2004, at Community Hospice Morris Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

Mary Plummer
SUNBURY — Mary Plummer, 74, of Sunbury and formerly of Marengo, died Feb.
25, 2004, at Grady Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 30, 1929, in Gresham, Wis., to Jule and Meta (Duwe) Petrich. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church in Marengo.
She is survived by daughter, Mary (Rick) Franks of Sunbury; sons, Richard (Janet) Plummer Jr. and Raymond (April) Plummer, both of Mount Gilead, and Randy (Lauren) Plummer of Sunbury, 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leon Petrich of Anawa, Wis., and Merlin Petrich, Howard Petrich and Floyd Petrich, all of Gresham, Wis.; sisters, June Checka, Delores Buchlotz and Darlene Reif, all of Gresham, Wis., and Dorothy Buchlotz of Milwaukee, Wis.
Deceased are her husband, Richard W. Plummer; daughter, Beverly Ashton Caddes; sister, Joyce Newton.
Friends may call today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sunbury, where funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. Pastor Jeff Deel will officiate. Interment will follow in the Marengo Cemetery.
Sue E. Wilson
MOUNT VERNON — Sue Elaine Wilson, 64, of Mount Vernon went home to be with
the Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville
after a long, courageous fight battling massive strokes.
She was born June 30, 1939, in Mount Sterling to Ivan and Kellon Marvene (Lane) Hamilton. She was a nurse for 34 years with Martin Memorial Hospital and Knox Community Hospital. She worked in many areas, but pediatrics was her favorite. She was an excellent nurse, showing care and compassion to those she cared for. She was a member of the Grove Church of Christ, where she had served as past church secretary.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Robert D. Wilson Sr.; a son, Robert (Laura) Wilson Jr. of Mount Vernon; three grandchildren that she dearly loved, Jason, Bethany and Ashley Wilson; and a brother, Thomas (Laura) Hamilton of Gambier.
A graveside service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Union Grove Cemetery. The Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sue was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
