MOUNT VERNON — The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County will present the Academy Award-winning film, “Life of Pi” (rated PG), for its free movie night at 6:30 Wednesday.
The visually stunning masterpiece from Oscar-winning director Ang Lee presents the adventure of a lifetime based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel. After a traumatic shipwreck, young Pi Patel finds himself stranded on a lifeboat with only one other survivor — a ferocious Bengal tiger. Bound by the need to survive, the two are cast on an epic journey.
