FREDERICKTOWN — On Tuesday, Spay & Neuter Abandoned Cats & Kittens Inc. and the Fredericktown Vet Clinic Inc. will hold their third low-cost spay and neuter clinic for pet cats, strays and feral cats at the clinic, at 156 Columbus Road. This event is being called “Bring Your Cats and Your Cans.”

Aluminum cans will be collected and recycled, and the money earned from this activity will help fund surgeries.

The community fix-it day for cats is a joint effort between SNACK Inc. and the Fredericktown Vet Clinic as a community service to help reduce cat overpopulation. Space for this event is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop-off time for the event will be between 8 and 9 a.m. Pick-up will be between 5 and 6 p.m. Preregistration and prepayment are required. Registration forms are available at the SNACK Inc. website at or by requesting a registration form by phone at 614-371-8996 and leaving a voicemail with address information. The special price includes spay or neuter, a one-year rabies vaccination, and ear-tipping for feral cats. Kittens are also eligible if they weigh at least 3 pounds.

This offer is available only through SNACK Inc. and is limited to two cats per household. It applies to Jan. 29 only.
