MOUNT VERNON — The investigation is ongoing on a break-in and burglary at Central Ohio Farmer’s Co-Op, 502 W. Gambier St., which took place on Jan. 18. Manager Phil Pierce told the News that the incident was discovered when someone had cut a hole in the fence which surrounds the property and proceeded to break into the shop, where steal cutting torches were taken. The torches were then taken into the front office where the business’ safe was broken into.
