UTICA — The North Fork Board of Education welcomed two new members on Monday, Barb Bruce and Farrah Cooperider, as well as the reelected Bernie Snow.

Organizing for 2014, the board elected Lori Stradley as its president and Theresa Magers as vice president. Stradley will also serve as the legislative liaison with Bruce acting as legislative alternate and student achievement liaison.

Superintendent Scott Hartley said the rest of the meeting was straightforward.

The board approved typical annual actions as well as routine monthly items. It renewed membership in the Metropolitan Educational Council and took the following personnel actions: Approved extra-service compensation for Julie Baker for administrative duties beyond her normal work hours Nov. 18 through Dec. 20; added Anthony Butler, Robert Ricket and Karen Van Ness to the classified substitute list; and accepted the certificated substitute list as submitted by the Licking County Educational Service Center.
