MOUNT VERNON — A scheduling conflict has once again postponed the motion hearing of Carol Deyo versus the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife. Previously scheduled for 11 a.m. today in Mount Vernon Municipal Court, the hearing has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, due to an appointment conflict with the defendant.

The hearing is expected to determine legal ownership of two deer and four raccoons and decide the fate of the animals which ODNR claims Deyo has no right to provide care for or have possession of on her property.
