MOUNT VERNON — Horses will not be allowed to use the section of the Heart of Ohio Bicycle Trail in Centerburg to return from Memorial Park to the staging area after parades in the village.
Representatives of the Knox County Horse Park met with the county commissioners Thursday to ask that they be allowed to use the trail. He said they know horses are not normally allowed on the trail, but they don’t think a waiver would harm the trail.
