HOWARD — Considering everything that was new and different in the East Knox school district, the start of school went smoothly, principals told the school board at its meeting Wednesday.
“The iPad roll out has gone remarkably well,” added Superintendent Steve Larcomb.
Special tribute was given to the teachers and custodians for their hard work this summer, to cafeteria workers who provide after school snacks to athletes and to Danny Gray, Craig Gilmore and Chuck Melick for their help in installing the new playground equipment, which reportedly has been a huge hit with the pupils.
