MOUNT VERNON — The United Way of Knox County, along with the Mount Vernon Rotary Club, kicked off its 2013 campaign Tuesday with more than 80 people in attendance at The Alcove Restaurant.
After some rotary business, Jen Odenweller, executive director of the United Way of Knox County, went over the 2014 Community Investment Agenda with the Rotary members and guests of the kick off event, with the focus that “partnerships change community outcomes.”
Bill Levering took to the podium to discuss the 2013 United Way Campaign, and said the call to action was to “Live United.”
