This county road intersection is now a three-way stop. Lower Fredericktown-Amity Road runs across the photo and North Liberty Road up and down. The corner has seen crashes because northbound North Liberty Road traffic does not have a stop sign. Drivers crossing the intersection might think a northbound car will stop and pull into its path. Thursday afternoon, Knox County Commissioners looked over the intersection and discussed changes for safety. (Photo by Virgil Shipley)
The intersection of Hopewell and Grove Church roads, southeast of Mount Vernon, will be changed to a T intersection. The photo is from Hopewell Road that will T into Grove Church Road with less confusion on who has the right of way. The Knox County Commissioners checked out the intersection Thursday.
