MOUNT VERNON — Suellen F. Harmon, 73, of Mount Vernon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Country Court Nursing Home.

She was born June 15, 1941, in Mount Vernon, to the late Leland B. and Wyleta B. (Keyes) Fidler.

Suellen was a former hairdresser and had worked for many years at Marenello Beauty Shop.

Suellen is survived by her daughter, Gretchen Harmon of Mount Vernon; two grandsons, Joshua and Aaron Quaintance, both of Toledo; along with her extended family, Larry and Lee Keyes of Fredericktown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Harmon in 2005; a sister, Saundra L. Fidler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth H. and Ruth N. Harmon; and maternal uncles, Lowell and Richard Keyes.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Suellen F. Harmon will be held Tuesday, at 3 p.m., at Lasater Funeral Home, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Following services, friends are invited to stay for a time of food and fellowship at Lasater Family Center. Private burial will be held in Amity Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Hospice of Knox County.
