BRANDON, Fla. — Roberta Lee (Whited) Davis of Brandon, Fla., and formerly of Centerburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bobbi was born in Detroit, Mich., on Sept. 15, 1944, to the late Robert and Virgie Whited. Graduating from Centerburg High School in 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Doug Davis. She moved to Florida from Centerburg in 1973.

Bobbi worked in the insurance field in medical billing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling to Jackson Hole and was an avid football fan.

Bobbi is survived by her son, Brian (Jennifer) Davis; grandson, Austin; brother, Roy (Judith) Whited; sister-in-law, Christine Thomas; nieces, Carey (Brett) Ballinger, Regina Thomas; nephew, Dwayne Thomas; and several great- nieces and nephews.

Bobbi was preceded in death by her husband, Doug Davis; parents, Robert and Virgie Whited; niece, Shelly Whited; and brother-in-law, Darrell Thomas.

Friends may call Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury. Private graveside services will be held Wednesday in the Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg.
