MOUNT VERNON — Just over 1,000 customers in the McKenzie Street-Coshocton Road area are without power after a tree or limb came down on a power line on McKenzie Street about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

American Electric Power spokesperson Carmen Prati-Miller said AEP expects to have service restored by 1 or 1:30 p.m.
