One Response to “Are you concerned about the ingredients in a hot dog?”

I worked for a company that had a large subsidary that manufactured hot dogs, and had the opportunity to seehow their made.  Although their not as gross as many people might think, from what I saw I always reccommend people  buy all beef franks, or even better, kosher franks.  I usually eat kosher franks because a rabbi always oversees the operation looking out primarily for cleanliness and what cuts they use (beef).  What was gross is the processed meats, such as deli ham and other processed meats that are formed in a pan and then cooked at the meat plant.  These are usually the cheaper bulk meats you’ll find in a deli or in a meat department such as in Krogers.  I never eat that stuff.
