Drug town halls will continue

The series of town halls this spring on the drug epidemic was a good first step in that they increased public awareness of the problem, but maybe more needs to be done to drive home the cost of the epidemic.

Drones useful tool for farmers

The evolving use of unmanned aerial vehicles, in agriculture was the topic of the monthly Farmer’ Breakfast Tuesday.
Knox County OSU Extension Educator John Barker said everybody calls them drones, of course, but extension educators are told they should use the term “unmanned aerial vehicle” term because “drone” sounds like military hardware.
