HOWARD — Colleen Kay Mories, 68, of Howard, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Feb. 26, 1949, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to Dean Thompson and Mary (Bumpus) Bellaver.

Colleen was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her father; significant other, Samuel D. Mories I; children, Michael (Lori) Mills, Shawn Skelton, Rachel (Kevin Hughes) Mories, Samuel D.(Seravea) Mories II; four step-children; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Ron Thompson, Buddy (Debby) Fickes, Kay (Dan) LeClair, Susan Yates; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Bellaver, and a sister, Laura Thompson.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, Feb. 16, from 6-10 p.m., at the Apple Valley Clubhouse; 3725 Apple Valley Drive, Howard, OH 43028.
