James S. Meyer

MOUNT VERNON — Vickie Sant, president of First-Knox National Bank, announced the promotion of James S. Meyer to vice president, mortgage and consumer lending.

Meyer joined First-Knox in 1999 as a management associate. He previously managed the Centerburg Office and Main Office prior to moving into a primary mortgage and consumer lending role.

“Jim’s lending skills are second to none,” Sant said. “He has spent the better part of his career honing those skills and he is very adept at assessing a customer’s situation, identifying financing options, and providing guidance on what will benefit the customer’s overall financial picture.”

Meyer is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, and the University of Cincinnati. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Meyer is a graduate of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Knox program. He is a member of the Mount Vernon Parking Company and the Shade Tree Commission, treasurer for the Committee to Support Our Local Schools, and serves as a youth basketball and softball coach.

Meyer and his wife, Stefanie, currently reside in Mount Vernon. They have three children: Logan, Peyton and Zoe. Meyer can be reached at the Main Office at 740-399-5109 or JMeyer@FirstKnox.com.
