CENTERBURG — Todd Nauman rarely shows much emotion from the bench.

The Centerburg girls basketball coach is usually stoic, watching play unfold before him, preferring to wait until timeouts or halftime to talk to his players.

But on Monday, as he stared out onto the court while his Trojans took on Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference rival Fredericktown, you could — almost — see a hint of a smile.

“I’m not even going to complain,” Nauman said after the game. “I thought everybody played well.”
