FREDERICKTOWN — It’s all about focus. The Fredericktown Freddies’ bowling team will go as far as their focus will take them.

Fredericktown bowling coach Chuck Young goes into Saturday’s Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference Tournament Morrow Lanes in Cardington with a group of boys that have seen the post-season before and a young girls squad that appears ready for the next step.

“I love the job that the girls have done, because of the lack of experience that they brought in this year. They’ve come a long way from the beginning of the season to where they are now. Sean (assistant coach Sean Stephen) has the girls’ team and I have full confidence in what he can do,” Coach Young said. “The only time I have to go over there is when he can’t make it or if he has a question. Whether you are talking to the boys or the girls, the message is the same — you have to focus on your bowling and don’t worry about anything else. Take it one frame at a time.”
