HOWARD — It took three quarters, but the Danville Blue Devils (12-8, 9-4 KMAC) finally cracked open the tough-nut East Knox Bulldogs’ (1-13, 2-15 KMAC) defense. Danville’s Lauren Mickley dropped in a dozen fourth-quarter points on her way to a game-high 26, leading the Devils to a 54-28 Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference win on Wednesday.

“We started really slow, but, once we started looking up the floor and pushing the ball, we got into our offense and we were able to reverse it,” Mickley said. “Then, a couple of people started hitting their shots so we kept giving them the ball.”
