DANVILLE — Two areas of the village will be going through the rezoning process after discussion at the Danville Village Council meeting Monday.

Officials are looking to rezone an area of West Washington Street from multi-family residential to light industrial. The area includes the businesses Danville Tire, Danville Towing, Didinger and Sons, and Mulisano Motors.

Properties on the corner of the square will also be rezoned. Don Leo’s Market and Lyons’ Den are looking to change from multi-family residential to Neighborhood Business.

The village will contact adjacent property owners and a public hearing will be scheduled to determine whether to go forward with the rezoning classifications.
