MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Senior Fair Board will discuss criminal charges filed against a board member during an upcoming meeting.
Board member Scott Moody was arrested on Jan. 25, and charged with domestic violence after allegedly injuring his 11-year-old son. Moody has entered a not guilty plea in Mount Vernon Municipal Court.
“We are aware of this situation involving our board member,” Vice President Dustin Beheler told the News Tuesday afternoon. “The Knox County Senior Fair Board Executive Committee will be discussing this matter further at our scheduled executive meeting [tonight].”
The Senior Fair Board regularly meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the board office on the Knox County Fairgrounds.
The News incorrectly identified the board’s vice president in Tuesday’s edition and regrets the error.
